what does this mean?

Hi @JenaW,
That means you need to assign dropdown values to the "VP approval" column.
Such as: Submitted, Approved, Declined
Or: Yes, No
Hope this helps!

@Ray Lindstrom How do I do that?
-
@Ray Lindstrom I got it but now it says this
-
Did you make the column "VP Approval" a dropdown list, and if so which values did you assign as options?
-
@Ray Lindstrom Yes, it is a dropdown. It has 2 values: approved, declined
-
Click the "hamburger" (3 vertical dots) to access "Advanced options".
I believe you need a "Submitted" value in addition based on what is asked for in the Advanced Options. Here's what that looks like:
When you select the "new column" option for the "Save responses in" field, a new column gets created with the following values. I believe you need at least 3.
-
@Ray Lindstrom Yes I had submitted there too but I got rid of it. Do I need it there?
I went to advanced options. But I don't want a separate column for each VP approval, I want just one. Is that possible? Doesn't seem like it because I get this message.
-
Yes, you will need a value for submitted. See the advanced options to help understand why.
You should be able to use the same column for multiple people.

It isn't allowing me to use the same column for multiple people. The same message is popping up even though I went into advanced settings
