I am looking for a way to populate Sheet summary fields either through automations or control center

Use case is: From the Project intake process, move the row into the sheet summary fields.

Haha! No worries!
Yes, connect with VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH.
I'd recommend the INDEX/MATCH combination.
The structure would be something like this if it's a cross-sheet formula.
=INDEX({ColumnWithTheValueYouWantToShow}, MATCH(CellThatHaveTheValueToMatch@row, {ColumnWithTheValueToMatchAgainsTheCell}, 0)
Make sense?

This is not possible using Control Center or Automations.
Can you provide some screenshots for examples? Sometimes there are ways to do this through formulas.

I hope you're well and safe!
Are the fields added to the Sheet Summary already, and do you only want to populate the data?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

So the only want to populate a sheet summary field is to enter it manually?
-
Yes Andree, there field already exist
-
You can populate it using a formula. If you are using control Center and the formula is in the field in the template, it will be there in any project provisioned from the template.

Excellent!
You could use cross-sheet formulas to connect them to an Intake sheet or similar.
Make sense?

Right. Sometimes the data can be linked through formulas. If you are able to provide some screenshots and more detail, I'd be happy to help with more specifics.

Paul, I am trying to use the Sheet Summary fields instead of using the Summary Sheet that is created by Control Center. Then report of Sheet Summary
Here is my Summary Sheet
I want to use the Sheet Summary field from my Project Schedule Sheet
Control center are getting the Values from the Project intake sheet.
-
Here are some options.
- Connect the sheet summary in the project schedule sheet with your intake sheet using the Project ID.
- Same as above, but with the Summary sheet.
- Populate the profile data in the project schedule sheet and reference it in the sheet summary section.
Make sense?
Would any of those options work/help?
