Hi Brandfolder Community! Happy Halloween 🎃 We're excited to share our fall roundup of release notes that are all treats and no tricks. 🍬

  • Content Automation - Rich Text: Designers can now build drag and drop templates with rich text components, unleashing a wider range of creative freedom. Adjust formatting elements like text color, styling, and alignment to supercharge your designs.
  • Content Automation - Print PDF Export: Users can now render PDFs for professional printing from drag and drop templates, including configurable crop, bleed and slug marks, font embedding, and color conversion.
  • Insights App Refresh: We’ve updated the look and feel of the Insights App within Brandfolder to unify our users’ experience within Brandfolder’s tools.
  • New file types in Brandguide: Brandguide continues to improve with new file types available to drag and drop from the content block. Users can now add MP4 files, Office file types, and PDFs directly to their Brandguide.
  • Sign in with Smartsheet: Now Brandfolder users with a Smartsheet account associated with the same e-mail can log into Brandfolder using their Smartsheet credentials.
  • Canva Integration Enhancements: Built on Canva's new API, the Canva-Brandfolder integration now comes with much improved asset discovery.
  • Suggested Descriptions: Now located in your asset modal, this will save you time and effort by generating descriptions based on what is shown in the image, so you don’t have to. These descriptions are straightforward and provide a consistent tone for assets at scale, as well as improving accessibility with clear descriptions that are easy for screen readers to comprehend.
  • QR Code Tool: Instantly generate custom QR codes for your drag and drop templates. Designers can adjust color for brand compliance and readability, lock down pre-set destinations or even allow end users to create their own custom codes.

Let us know if you've taken advantage of any of these yet or which you're looking forward to.
