How do you edit source data through dynamic view?

I have access to Dynamic View, I can see the panels, I am the Owner, but I cannot edit the source data through this App.

Is that a feature?

The article makes sense and was what I expected. It looks like I had created my own glitch to be fair, but it is resolved now.
