Subtracting one column from another

Hello, I'm looking for the formula to subtract the value in one column from the value in another column. The use case is: Approved Budget value - Invoiced value.

If you columns are called Approved Budget value and Invoiced value

The formula to do this on the current row is

=[Approved Budget value]@row-[Invoiced value]@row

Or to do this on a specific row replace @row with the row number, for example

=[Approved Budget value]1-[Invoiced value]1
