formulate total based of drop down
I have a column of drop down selections (hold, open, and closed) additionally I have a column that has PO values for all line items. I want a cell to keep track of the dollar value of only the hold and open drop down selection. can any one help me with such a formula?

Happy to help!
You need to add square brackets because there are spaces + you had some errors at the end.
Try this.
=SUMIFS([PO Value]:[PO Value], [Task Status]:[Task Status], OR(@cell="Hold", @cell = "Open")
Did that work?

Hi @FabharChris
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this. (change the column names)
=SUMIFS(POvalues:POvalues, StatusColumn:StatusColumn, OR(@cell = "Hold", @cell = "Open"))
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Andree,
Thank you for the response and I hope you are doing well as well. below is my first attempt at loading formula, I tried a few variations with no luck I provided a screen clip to help with explanation.
I am trying to achieve the "PO Value" of the Items in the "FERG JOB #" column based on the "Task Status" column drop selection being either "HOLD or OPEN".
FORMULA:
=SUMIFS(PO Value : PO Value, Task Status: Task Status, OR(Task Status="Hold", @cell =Task Status " Open"))
