Traffic light system by using data from drop down list in anther column

Hi All

I am trying to have an automated traffic light system dependant on the option chosen from my 'Status' column, I would like it to automatically choose the correct colour in the 'RAG Status' column, so Red for not started, Yellow in progress, Green for completed & grey for On Hold, this has really stumped me !
