Issue with Column Formulas and Form Questions

I created a form, and a smartsheet to correspond with it. I saved it, and all of my questions on the form are perfect. All of the rows on my smartsheet are perfect.

I created a formula using =INDEX and when it's a cell formula, the questions on my form are fine. However, as soon as I convert to column formula, the question is removed from my form? I can convert back to cell formula, and the question returns. I'm not sure what's happening? I've made formulas and column formulas many times before without this error. Is it a glitch?

Column formulas cannot be typed over and are therefore removed from forms. Cell formulas can be overwritten, so they are left in the form.
