We’re excited to announce that Event Reporting has come to Smartsheet Gov!

Event Reporting in Gov helps Smartsheet Gov system admins, IT admins, and information security officers answer important questions about how their organization’s data is being used. Smartsheet Event Reporting in Gov is a feed of usage events, accessibility via API. The service reports on user activity, tracking when objects are created and deleted, when groups are edited, when users are added, and other events and content changes.

With Event Reporting in Gov, you can monitor user behavior, and view activity and actions taken within the Smartsheet Gov platform. Event Reporting helps to ensure compliance and governance by letting you see the granular details of who is doing what in Smartsheet Gov and when. You can quickly identify abnormal behavior and affirm that one of your agency’s most valuable assets — your data — is being used within the established guardrails.
