Smartsheet not uploading MS Project schedule accurately

Is there are reason Smartsheet will have different start and end dates, as well as apparently adding removing random tasks?

hi,

I have had the same issue from time to time and I figured out it was due to some specific formatting of dates or other custom fields. If you use only standard formatting and no customization, then there is no issue. At least that's my experience.
