Can I get the SUM of values in a range of cells between a date range?

Greetings all.

Would it be possible to count a numerical value in a range of cells based on a window of time (Month)? I want to create a dashboard that captures a participant's monthly total over a year.

If you have a date type column, you can use a SUMIFS function. There are quite a few posts already throughout the Community detailing how to get the sum of numbers within a date range using a SUMIFS that should help get you on the right track.
