Match Function

Hello,

I noticed that the MATCH fomula has a limitation of the length of the text. I.e, I am matching the names between two sheets. I have some long names -Mohammad Ali Hussaini, Mohammad Muttaqi. When i plug in the fomula, it always return the first one.

How can i fix this?

=MATCH("Mohammad Ali Hussaini",{NAME},0)

Can you check your formula and make sure that you are not missing the last arguement to the MATCH function.

MATCH(search_value, range, [search_type])

• search_type—[optional] The default is 1. The manner in which to search, depending on whether the range is sorted ascending (1), not sorted (0), or sorted descending (-1).
