How to Create a Chart Line from Multiple Years Data
I'm trying to create chart line in Smartsheet that shows the total cost for the last 6 months which includes August through December of 2023. How can I format my data so the information I'm trying to select can be reflected in my chart without getting an error message like the one show on my screenshot? ( Please select a cell or range of cells that are next to each other. I'm able to do this in Excel.

@jfvbms2023 You would need to swap the line 2024 and January so that December and January are next to each other. If you need the data shown this way in your sheet for other reports/sheets/dashboards, just create another 2 columns to the right of these and use them for the months and totals for your chart data.

Thank you Jamesb. Easy fix by only swapping the lines.
