Dashboard Search Functions

Is there a Search widget within Dashboard that we can create? Similar to say tracking of a delivery parcel.

What I want to create is a Dashboard that only shows certain information when a client input a Keyword or reference number then the Dashboard will show all the information that is linked to that Reference number or Keyword.

It is possible, but it does not scale well and is not very flexible. How many people would need to be able to search the dashboard? If more than 1, you can run into some challenges that greatly increase with more users.

To add to Paul's excellent advice/answer.

And I agree, it doesn't scale well.

• Another option is for the Client to submit a form with an ID and then receive an Alert/Update Request with the requested information.
