In Excel, when you create a formula, you drag it down so it is the rows below. In Smartsheet, I don't think that is the best practice. How do make sure the formula will be used, but that I don't need to drag it down like in Excel?

If the formula will be relevant to every cell in the column, you can right click one of the cells containing the formula and select "Convert to Column Formula"
