I am using today() in a summary field and doing a VLOOKUP to an external file.

The formula exists in several project status files that will then use the lookup value to find current week and calculate the number of stores being updated that week. A summary report then aggregates all of these summary fields to be used as input to a dashboard. I don't want to have to open each status file to make the data update. Will those formulas update on their own?
