Portfolio Metrics
I am trying to get a count of all my projects in my project intake sheet. I am using the formula below to reference my intake sheet but it is returning 0 when I have 12. What am I missing?
=COUNTIF({2024 PROJECT INTAKE PROJECT ID}, <>"PROJECT ID")
Thanks in advance

Can you provide a screenshot of the column?

Sorry. I meant the column containing the source data.

the sheet reference Project ID is auto numbered to generate Project ID number

I figured it out. I had to count by Customer bc the columns didn't match. Thank you!

Actually quick question, If on the PMO Template the Project ID is autogenerated, and I am doing the same thing, why is it not allowing me to use my Project ID?

@Nicole_Codi17 It could have to do with exactly what you are auto-generating. In certain instances, the auto-generated number will actually be stored as a text value. Comparing text to numerical values especially in functions such as COUNTIFS and SUMIFS never works out very well.

Thanks Paul! So I will do what I did and reference another field.
Thanks for helping as always!
