Clear diamond in addition to a milestone marker?

I have a sheet that has a Gantt chart with milestones. The milestone marker I want displays appropriately. However, when I export to PDF, I also get a clear diamond at the far left of the Gantt chart. Can I get rid of the clear diamonds?

Hi Laura, seems like the clear diamonds are there as an easy way to identify milestones - this makes sense when you have a lot of lines on a gantt chart. But for smaller files it may be a hindrance. I am not seeing any options so far where you can get rid of them.

One option would be to export to MS Project or similar software if you have access to it and then export to PDF.

But might be too much trouble to get rid of this design feature.
