Multiple Select Dropdown

Hi all,

I don't recall where I read that using multiple select dropdowns was not a good idea. I can't seem to find the reason why. I am creating a sheet that has up to 3 selections in one field and am questioning if its a good idea. Hoping to get the communities opinion on this before I continue with my sheet setup.

Hi Nicole_Codi17,

I think it is good to use Multi-select dropdowns if you want to have up to 3 selections in one field. But depends on what formula and actions you want to perform with that specific column.

There are some limitations to consider for card view (it doesn't work with multi-select) and reporting (can't group and more when it's multi-select)
