I'm sure this is very simple as I did it for one of my filters but not for the life of me can't figure it out again.
Looking to change the color of my tasks in calendar view when I apply a filter.

Right click on the calendar item and choose "Color-Settings" it can be done from Gannt view or Calendar view.

You can also apply conditional formatting to color the task bar in Gannt View and Calendar view. Or set the default color of your bars in the Account > Personal Settings > Apply Colors and Logo section.
