Text Orientation! Please add vertical text option!

This would be such a helpful addition. To be able to make the header row have vertical text is a huge feature and would be so helpful to large sheets of information. How come this isn't a thing yet? It can be done in Excel, Google Sheets, and other similar programs. I know Smartsheet isn't a true database program, but this should be able to be implemented in this software. This has been on the wish list of customers for 10 years... I can find discussion posts and web searches for this going back to 2014. This request seems to be ignored, most official responses are "Not yet, and maybe in a future update".

Adding my voice that this would be a very helpful feature especially for RACI charts.

In response to Forms Goddess, I 100% agree. Our organization wants to create a centre of excellence containing resources fully within Smartsheet however formatting limitations such as this mean we have not been able to, so while Smartsheet allows great interdepartmental collaboration on the project plan we are still housing resources for the project across disparate locations.
