Overriding Due Date when a box is checked
I currently have a sheet with several dependent tasks. Right now I have predecessors set but I am trying to find a way to trigger the next task/row to start once the row above is marked as complete. I was thinking that I could possibly have today's date entered in the task completed date column so I can use the start to finish predecessor but I can't figure out how to make it work. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
I`m not sure what exactly you mean by trigger next task. I suppose the best solution would be to use workflow, using trigger: change of the filed the checkbox.
Best,

I'm looking to try and have a task start date be dependent on when a box is checked in another row. For example, once a row has been marked as complete, enter today's date as the start date for a task in another row
