remove drop-down options on a form

I've got a form which has a drop down list - i want to set it up so that when one of the options has been selected, it removes it from the list so the next person that completes the form cant choose it.

i dont have any premium apps such as data shuttle etc.

It is not possible to change the dropdown list options automatically in the native app. I believe it can be done with data shuttle (that you don't have) or possibly via an API.
