Is there a way to scan info with an iphone and have it inserted into a form?

We need to enter VIN numbers into a form and would love to be able to scan or take a photo with an iphone or ipad and have it automatically go into the form. Is this possible with smartsheets?

Here’s how it works: in your form, when you tap into the field where you’d like to add the VIN, look for the "Scan Text" option that pops up. You can then point your camera at the VIN, and it should automatically pick up the numbers and insert them into the form field—super handy for accuracy and speed.

Another option to consider is using a third-party app to scan barcodes, or QR codes that also support VIN scanning. You can copy the scanned VIN from the app and paste it directly into your SmartSheets form. It might streamline things a bit more, especially if you're working with multiple entries.
