Change Row or Cell Colour

Hi team,

I have a running annual calendar of events and activities and would love to be able to automatically change the rows, or if not a row, the cell with the event names' color to indicate that the event has passed.

I have columns that show event start dates and ones with event end dates, so a formula or workflow that changes the color of the row or even a single cell, preferably the cell with the name of the event (which is in a separate column), once the end date is reached or passed.
