Non-Conformance Template
Hi Everyone,
This is my first post on Smartsheet.
I am wondering if anybody has got a template to use for tracking internal and external non-conformances, which will then populate to a dashboard.
Any input and advise will be appreciated
Kind Regards
Werner

Hi @WHefer
I hope you're well and safe!
Have you explored the Solution Center and the available templates there? They can be excellent starting points.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for you note.
I had a look and tried to search, but was not successful to find anything. Mauby I got the key words wrong.

Happy to help!
Can you elaborate on the use case? Do you already have something in Excel or something similar?

I do have the data on a Excel sheet, that I use to Log and track any Complaints (Quality - Internal & External) related.
I basically log the info like the in the below image
- OFI no#
- Reg. By
- Date
- Status
- Customer details
- Complaint description
- Brand
- Qty
- Product
- Stock Code
- OFI category
- etc.
I have already created my own sheet on Smartsheet (Mirrored what I did on Excel), but I like to know if there is any better template to use whereby I can track and breakdown easily the different types of NCRs and then visually show that on a dashboard if possible

Excellent!
Have a look at this one.
Would that work/help?

Hi Andree
Would perhaps know of a suitable formulation that I can use to,
- calculate the number of days between two dates
- Calculate the number of days a NCR is open, based from the start date. This should be a rolling count of the days, and then when the NCR is closed, then the count will stop and just indicate the last number
Hope this makes sense

Hi @WHefer,
I think you need as your formulas for two new columns:
- =[Date2]@row - [Date1]@row
- =IF([NCRState]@row, ="Open", TODAY() - [StartDate]@row, [ClosedDate]@row - [StartDate]@row)
If @Andrée Starå comments with anything different, defer to his comment as far more likely correct 😁
Good luck!
Will
