SUMIF & CONTAINS

I'm trying to sum column 1 IF, column 2 contains certain text. What would be the formula for that?

Smartsheet has a page for each Function that is every helpful, take a look at this page for SUMIF:

That page shows you that you can first list Column 2 as the range to search for the criterion (the certain text), and then after listing the criterion you can list Column 1 as the actual range to sum.
