Please suggest a recommended way to fetching data at the organization level with admin user

We need a way to fetch the entire data at the organization level using admin user (Data of all the Non admin and admin users). From the APi documentation and from the below discussion it appears that admin user's oauth2 token is not sufficient to fetch the entire organization's data. Pleas help us with this query. Also please tell us how to achieve this using admin's oauth2 token as well as admin's personal API token

Hi @Reshma R

The Smartsheet API gives you access to the same data you have access to when you log into the UI. This means if you are not shared to the sheet as a user, you won't be able to fetch that sheet's data with the API.

If your account is a System Admin, you can get Organization-level data with List Org Sheets: https://smartsheet.redoc.ly/tag/sheets#operation/list-org-sheets

This will not bring back cell contents, but it will list all the sheets created by users in that organizaton (like a Sheet Access Report that a System Admin can download from the Admin Center). Does that make sense?

It sounds like you may want to look into Event Reporting, too, if you're on an Enterprise plan.
