FORMAT ROWS WITHOUT CHILDREN ROWS

I have set up a sheet and found a solution to automatically highlight parent rows (using a helper column) but is there a way to also highlight rows automatically that don't have children rows?

Hey @Fialko66,

How are you using the helper column to highlight parent rows? If you use a formula like =COUNT(ANCESTORS()), you could use conditional formatting where if the cell is >0, then highlight parent rows one color, then if it =0, highlight rows with no children a different color

Thank you for responding to me, this is the formula I am using in the helper column

=IF(COUNT(CHILDREN(PROGRAMME1)) > 0, 1)

This works fine to highlight parent rows with children but i also need to highlight standalone rows without children

Try something like this. (modify as needed)

=IF(COUNT(CHILDREN([Task Name]@row)) > 0, COUNT(ANCESTORS()) + 1)
