Can formula columns handle 2 different types of average scores based on the type of individual?

I have a tracker that list out employees performing one job A and another set of employees performing another job B. Both employees must have an average score and total number of audits completed. I have to audit both with a smartsheet form and have the results tally certain criteria for each person. How do I get the column to distinguish between Job A employee and Job B employee? Or is the column only going to allow a formula and apply the same one to all?

    Hey @beaglemomma

A formula can differentiate between the different jobs depending if your data set identifies the jobs differently. For instance, if a column calls out the job type, or if the employees are identified as jobA or jobB employees, you can probably differentiate. Is it possible to see a screenshot of your data (remove sensitive info like last names and/or email domains, etc).
