I know this is old, but wondering if anyone can tell me - if I ignore the error, will it impact my results? In other words, can I just let it run and continue to error?
"Invalid response from JIRA. statusCode: 400, reasonPhrase: Bad Request You do not have permission to edit issues in this project." -
Yes you can ignore.

If you're just pulling data then you should be fine. Try changing your workflow type to inbound-only or change your fields to inbound only instead of bidirectional. Of course, if you do actually want to sync data back to Jira then you'll need to resolve the error by actually getting permissions in Jira to make changes to those fields as the error says.
