Problem with save as new and column formula
Hello,
I have a spreadsheet that has some column formulas in it. I did a "save as new" and deleted some columns that had formulas in them in the copy of the original spreadsheet. For a reason that I don't understand, the formulas in the original sheet stopped working. I don't see how modifying the copy changed the original.
Does someone have an idea of what could have happened?
Thank you for the help!

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
It shouldn't if they aren't connected to another sheet together. Can you share some screenshots? (Please delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

So, like I said, the formulas were working before the "save as new," and after modifying the copy, the formulas stopped working.

Try removing the iferror part to see what the error message is.
Can you show the formula in the Invalid operation column?

We are having this issue and it is giving us #INVALIDREF after we remove the IFERROR portion of the formula. We have a sheet with several cross reference formulas and when we save as a template or save as new, the sheet references disappear. Same workspace, same people using the sheet as before. Any ideas?

After saving as new, the sheet reference manager is blank.
Here is the sheet reference manager before we save as new:
Here are the settings we are using to Save as New (and make it a template as well).
Any ideas what @Hope_Ndirangu and I are doing wrong?
