Countif- Remove Duplicates

Hi there!

I am trying to count the type of client we have per opportunity attached to a project. We will have some projects attached to the same opportunity and we will not want that data to be counted twice. I have attached a sample sheet of the data.

I have been using this formula to count duplicates. However this is counting blanks and does not account for client type.
=IF(COUNTIF(Opportunity:Opportunity, Opportunity@row) > 1, 1)))

Can someone help point me in the direction of a better formula to use to:

-Count the type of client
-Not count when the opportunity is a duplicate

@Natalie K you can use the DISTINCT formula for this: =IF(COUNTIF(DISTINCT(Opportunity:Opportunity), Opportunity@row) > 1, 1)))
