How do I do this formula?
Please help!!
Hi there! Im new to Smartsheet and helping my team get on track with using it.
I am having difficulty doing a specific formula if possible -
I need the total amount of rows that meet a certain criteria…like columns that have triggered GROUP A and also IP , total amount of rows that are GROUP B and IP, etc. These are drop down select columns.
GROUP has GROUP A, GROUP B
FACILITY has IP, ER
Example.
Number of people in Group A and in Facility IP = 2
Number of people in Group B and in facility IP = 0

Your general format will be like this: =COUNTIFS([Group:Group], @cell = "Group A", [Facility:Facility], @cell = "IP")
Then just substitute the "text" for your criteria. If its a cross sheet formula then the [Group:Group] will look like a {Cross Sheet Reference}

@Mark Rojas Thank you for replying so timely!
I tried it on my sample sheet and I got an unparseable error.

@walcala can you share a screen shot of the grid and the formula?
I tested this on a copy of your original post and it worked just fine.
