Multi data report comparison

I am looking to identify when new items are added to a report. We receive a report bi-weekly and the goal is to 1. compare the new report the previous report to identify when new items that meet the filter conditions are met and 2. take the newly identified items against the assigned list and if not found, then add to the list. Is this possible to accomplish?

    If you make a Record Date automation in the source Sheet(s) that mimics the report filter criteria you would have that info.

  • Normally I would complete a Power Query to append any new reports and filter out the duplicate items (i.e. the previous items) so that only the new items with my criteria are left. This would allow me to add those items to the list we use for assigning. Is there a similar capability in Smartsheet?
