How to Manage Individual Vacation Scheduling in Smartsheet for 2024?

    Dragging this thread back to life. I am a new-ish SS user (coming from MSP) and cannot fathom there not being a way to mark a resource as being on vacation in a way that will shift their tasks around. Is this really still true in 2024? I've been searching for an hour and still can't figure out a way to add vacation for individuals. How to people manage this??

    You can mark them on vacation if you're using resource manager by simply blocking the time.

    If you are using a sheet with a GAANT you could do the same and the conditional format the line to be red or something so you know they're out of the office.

    Do either of those help? Need a little more detail to get into the whats and hows further.
