'View Filter' option not available in Dynamic View setup.

In the Smartsheet Univ. Dynamic View course video, a 'view filter' option is available in the setup stage. However, the 'view filter' option isn't available in the course sample material or in my own projects. Am I missing something? Thanks!

What I'd like to be able to do is have a dynamic view populated by a drop-down menu selection rather than through a contact list. We have a lot of sites that we would like to access information but we don't want to add these people to a contact list for various reasons.

The filtering part is now part of the "General" tab.

Thank You! Perhaps I'm not quite understanding Dynamic View. What i'd like is for the dynamic view to be populated based on a selection from a drop-down list. Is this possible?

Your two options for that would be to create a shared filter on the sheet and then apply it in that first bit of the Dynamic View builder, or set the Dynamic View up to show all rows and create a shared filter within the Dynamic View itself.
