how do I automate workflow based on a check box?
Hi. I have a sheet the checks and unchecks a box based on inventory levels; when inventory drops below a certain number the box is checked and when it rises above that certain number the box is unchecked.
Next, I created an automated workflow that is supposed to copy a row to another sheet when a box is checked but for some reason I cant get it to copy the row unless I manually run the workflow… any suggestions here?

You cannot use a formula or automation to trigger an automotion, as far as I know (chain reactions or loops can be bad).
I believe you could change the trigger to run at a specific time every day and leave your condition. That should work, but will not be immediate. You can copy the rule and run at different times of day if needed more frequently. Hope that helps!

i dont think that will work. i want my row to be copied once, when the box is checked. In this case I believe it will be copied ever day that the box is unchecked…
