Profit formula

Sorry for the basic question. I need a row that calculates profit. I have a row titled COGS and a row titled Sold Price and a row titled Profit/Loss. What and how do I add a formula to the Profit/loss row that would calculate that for me? I am SO GRATEFUL for any help! Julie

In the row Profit/loss, enter a formula. Similar to Excel you can enter "=" and then select the cells and it will create the formula. After creating the formula, right click on it and "convert to column formula" if you want it to automatically enter in all rows.

The formula is based on the name of the column. Sales doesn't exist in the sheet. Your formula should be [Sold Price]@row - COGS@row
