SUMIF Between Sheets

Can smart sheets handle a sumif across different sheets?
I want to do something like this....
In sheet B: SUMIF (range in sheet A, where the task is the same as task in sheet A, add all the hours in sheet A) - should return total hours where tasks are the same.
This is difficult to describe - please advise!

Hi Jenna,
There currently isn't a way to reference cells from another sheet in a formula but that's a feature that our Product team is looking to release later this year.
With that being said, you can currently use cell linking to get the data into your sheet, and then once it's in the same sheet, perform calculations on it.
