Clicking Data in Power BI and getting to the Data Source in Smartsheet
I have a Smartsheet data set. This data was connected to Power BI. I want to be able to click on some data, for example, a specific project number, in Power BI and be taken to the Smartsheet row. Is that possible?
For instance, in Power BI, we used the data from Smartsheet to create a Top Ten list:
Clicking on this project only changes some of the other filtered items in Power BI. I want to click on the top project and have it open up the smartsheet row so I can look at additional information that we aren't using in the Power BI.

@Jenn W. we try not to leave smartsheet and add the powerbi as embed into the smartsheet dashboard in this way we can directly also register decisions meeting minutes in smartsheet . What do you think about this idea ?

Hi Nico,
Thank you for your response. So you are saying that we can create a Smartsheet data list, upload to Power BI, then take the formatted Power BI and put it back into a Smartsheet dashboard? There's no way to click on information in Power BI itself and be taken back to Smartsheet?

@Jenn W. you can embed a powerbi dashboard into a smartsheet dashboard.

This is definitely possible - Power BI has a "URL" option, where you can make some data in table a clickable link. You need to set that value to the link of the specific row/sheet of interest.
One issue is if you use the built-in Power BI smartsheet connector, I don't know if you'll be able to get the URL you need. We use the API and can get the information from there, but haven't tried with the Power BI Smartsheet connector.
