How to use SQRT function?

Hi! I searched through the functions and see that there's no SQRT function in smart sheets and the cells don't allow you to use the ^ key. Has anyone had experience, or have any advice on what to do?

I tried making a whole new column just to root the function and it returns #unparseable, along with this the (A1)^0.5 returns #number error.

=[Recommended Capture Distance (ft)]@row ^ 0.5
will work as a square root. It's not an elegant workaround, but work around it does. In terms of the ^ "key" you mention, you might have a specialized keyboard; just type SHIFT-6 on a standard keyboard to get the symbol (or for that matter, copy and paste it from here if you prefer).
