Override Contact List selection
I've developed a tracker that assigns a support person to a request for service. An INDEX/MATCH formula selects the appropriate person from one sheet and fills the contact list field in the request sheet. Users access it via a Dynamic View. This all works well but there is a specific use case I haven't been able to deal with: the ability to override the assigned person when they are on leave. I believe the existence of the formula inhibits manually choosing an alternative person.
Any suggestions for how to handle this greatly appreciated.

Could you add another column to enter the name if a manual override is needed and in the INDEX/MATCH function add an IF to say IF manual override column is blank do the INDEX/MATCH but if not blank use the override?
