Formula for Category/subcategory lookup in Smartsheet Forms

I have a form running with Categories and then i used logic to create subcategories. Is there a formula that I can create to pull information from the form based on the category that is chosen?

For example:

Services Category: A, B, C or D

A Subcategory : 1 , 2, 3, 4

B Subcategory: 5,6,7,8

Basically if someone selects A it will then pull the subcategories. I want a formula that will show what subcategory is selected and put it in the same row in the sheet. I dont want to have to create different rows based on the categories.

    Hi Moonie,

Unfortunately as for today the forms in Smartsheet are not so dynamic - you can only hide or show other fields pending on data you choose in some fields.

I think it was requested some time ago already in the Product Ideas but still has not been implemented :(
