Copied Rows need update
I have 2 sheets that copy to each other, the reason being that I have one that only has some cells that I want our customer to see, the other sheet has all our information on it. The question that I have is when someone updates a row, is there some other automation that I can put into the sheet so that we will know that there has been an update. Currently when either my team or our customer team enters something it will either copy or the automation with not work copying over to the other sheet.

The copy workflow will copy a row with data from all the columns for the particular row based on your trigger. Each time the workflow's trigger is met, the row gets copied over. So, you will most likely have the same rows copied over multiple times in your destination sheet. If you're trying to just have the information copied once and from that point onwards to have a sync between the two sheets with only updated data being reflected in the destination, you will need to have DataMesh, which is a premium app. Here's the link to learn about it -

Hi @AravindGP,
Thank you, So I looked at this Data Mesh looks like this is something that I want to get. I will have to reach out to my company person and see how to get this app. However, can you tell me when someone on my team enters something currently its transferring to the "share" sheet, but when our person on the share sheet is entering something it will not go to the direct sheet. I have the automation set to copy to the direct sheet, every time he enters something new it comes up as A workflow automation has become invalid. It seemed to work just fine a month ago.

@AravindGP , thank you for the help, I ended up starting with match index, then ended up using Reports. This way that when I am sharing the page with the customer then they can update the main sheet without having the get all the rows copied back and forth.
