Weird Trigger action on workflow automation
I have a workflow automation on sheet 1 that copies a row from sheet 1 to sheet 2 and sends an alert to my email when it is done. The cell that triggers the automation (a checkbox in sheet 1) gets populated by another sheet (sheet 3) and as such the rules say that the workflow will not be triggered and the row will not be copied over to sheet 2.
As its a low frequency of this occurence I decided to simply go into that linked trigger cell on sheet 1 that was updated and manually uncheck it, save it then check it again and save it to force the trigger to run the workflow.
HOWEVER what I have observed happening is that when sheet 3 updates sheet 1, I actually get an email alert from smartsheet automation in sheet 1 saying that the workflow has been run and tells me the row has been copied to sheet 2 and shows me the data that has been copied over to sheet 2.
But when I check sheet 2 (and refresh it) I see that the row has NOT been copied over and I still have to manually updated the checkbox to trigger the row being copied. I do that and then I get the EXACT SAME EMAIL again from smartsheet telling me that same row has been copied over - and this time it has been copied.
WHAT is going on here with the email confirming the workflow has run if the workflow is not being triggered? - does anyone know?

Could you provide a screenshot of the workflow?
