Smartsheet Jira Connector Support for Atlassian Webhook Limitation Changes

Hi Community,

To support the July 2024 Atlassian change to limit each Jira Cloud environment to 100 webhooks, we have introduced a new “Migrate All” workflows button to migrate Jira Connector workflows to the shared webhook model we introduced in November 2023. With this model, your Jira Connector workflows will all utilize one shared webhook, instead of one webhook per bi-directional workflow.

To make this changeover, the System Admin or Jira Connector Admin who created the initial connection between Smartsheet and Jira environments will need to click the “Migrate All” button in the Jira Connector Admin Dashboard to switch over all workflows to the new shared webhook model. If the button has been clicked but not all workflows migrated over, you will receive an alert that some workflows failed to migrate over and should try again. Once you have migrated over all workflows to the new shared webhook model, the button will no longer be visible.

Making this switch is required to ensure your workflows continue to work as expected and you do not run into any webhook limitations. There will be no impact to existing workflows. You can learn more about these changes in this help article

The Smartsheet Jira Connector is available for users on the Business plan, Enterprise plan, and/or Advance Gold/Platinum users. Learn more about the Smartsheet Jira Connector here
