Changing or Adding Email adress

Hello,
i am trying to add another Email Adress to my account, but SS says that the Email Adress i am wanting to add is allready connected to another SS Account. But I deleted that Account - and it still doesnt work
Anyone any ideas?

You may need to double check with support that the account is truly deleted.
