dynamic reference/dynamic linking from another sheet

I want to link a cell from sheet B to sheet A, where the column name in sheet B is determined by a string in sheet A. i.e. "sheetA_string" is dynamic, and matches a column header in sheet B.

Datamesh does not allow dynamic column linkages. (this would be ideal).

I'm currently using index( match( {find row} ), match( {find column} )). I currently have to copy the header name to row 1, as Reference Manager > Cross Sheet References does not allow access to the column header. I'd like to skip the step of copying the header to row 1.
