How to apply max function in smart sheet?
Good day everyone,
I'm new to smartsheet thing and I keep searching at google for the correct answer but unfortunately I failed. I just want to get the latest date in another sheet. I found a formula online but it only get the first date match in a column. What I really want is to get the latest date value:
My formula: =INDEX({Archive ST Logbook Data Range 1}, MATCH([Primary Column]@row, {Archive ST Logbook Data Range 2}, 0))

Hi @CyTab 🙂
Could you provide a screenshot of the data you're working on? Feel free to use dummy data to help us better understand what you're trying to accomplish here.

The first table @column2 where my formula is and the last table is my main data
I want to match the primary column to ACFT. column and get the latest date from the audit time date column
Hope you will get my point.
Thanks.

Hi @CyTab
In the Main Sheet (ACFT) you need to add an autonumber - system column (Row ID) and an Helper Column(ranking the latest entry).
- Inserting autonumber column:
2. Add Helper Column:
3. Formula to return the latest Audit Date/Time
Please vote up if this answers your question.🙂
Thank you!
